Guys please dont make such comments and scare everyone...There is no rule that that address shud match the address in ur 485 application.USCIS is not so dumb to look at the address on each of the check.No one ever in this country will ever validate the address on checks...no worries guys

Dosen't matter if you are on H1 or EAD documents to be sent for AP are same. Here is my list. Pls also check other posts to get a second opinion.
- A letter requesting AP explaining why you want to travel.
- $305 check
- Copy of I-140 approval
- Copy of I-485 receipt notice
- Copy of EAD
- 2 photos
- Any previous H1 approvals if applicable (dosen't hurt to include)

Citizenship of child do not consider for cross chargiability. Only the birth place of spouse will taken into consideration, if you file with details shown in the petition.
Child can be charged to either parent's country's quota, reverse is not allowed.

My quastion is can I use my daughter's birth country for cross chargeability. I know this is not very common, most of the time spouse's country of birth can be used for cross chargeability. But while I was googling I found the defination on the below website....

In your sim city you can make these rule. However for the real world support IV initiatives for the best results.

If the I-94 is attached to the new approval notice, you need not go for stamping to home country. If it is not, I advise that you go to home country for getting a new stamp.
The above applies if you do not plan to travel outside USA.

Is there a way to find all "active" members? If we're in the range 5000, then 10 per month for every user is good.

I'm unmarried(might take 6 months to one year to get married) What if my 485
gets approved before marriage? what are the risks in applying now and later?

For F1 students, any off campus employment must be related to their area of study and must be authorized by your school's designated official...

On May 01,2009 my wife's I-485 status changed online that they requested additinal evidence. I have not received RFE letter as of now and also I am touch base with my attorney, my attorney's office also not received RFE letter. Please advice me what steps I have to take in this regard.

Does anyone know if it makes any difference if you file early or late? I know it's supposed be completely random but does anyone have any theory on how you might have a better chance? My take is that if you file too early (first few days) and if (with a big if) there is a bug in system then your application might get lost. So let the bugs be fixed in first few days and then file.
This is my strategy. I play my entry in the early weeks and play my wife's entry towards the end.

Hello,
I am in serious trouble. Sometime ago I tried to switch my I-140 from EB3 to EB2. Now I get NOID to deny 140. Something related to prevailing wage (lawyer has actual letter). In my LC the offered wage was OK for EB3 but low for EB2. Lawyer says he'll try to reinstate EB3, but not sure. Has any one of you been able to reinstate EB3 140? Please help...

I went to the Arlington DMV today. They took copies of my I-485 and EAD. They said they will send a letter to my home in 7 to 10 days, if I'm eligible for a drivers license. I went a month back when I didn't have the EAD with me and they did not even accept my documents for faxing it to Richmond. Man...its getting crazier everyday.
Please post back your experience here. Thanks for starting the thread.
