Why are you so worried even before knowing whether your company is a TARP receiver or not?
BTW, if you entered on AP and still work for the same employer, then you are not on EAD. Also, you have no issues extending your H1.

It has been discussed many many times in IV and most of us have expert (!) knowledge about this I guess. Anyway go for AC21 with H1 Transfer if your new company can transfer H1. Otherwise go for EAD since you wont have any option.

My brother moved jobs early last year. He filed AC21 and got an RFE immediately.
The move was parallel in job function and the pay was good.
They replied to the RFE and then never heard back. In these economic times, USCIS
is scrutinizing every doc that gets filed.
Just an experience....

All the metros are crowded in India. Bangalore & Pune have more IT opportunities and have good schools.

I have little different problem here, I got my approval in 7 cal days so which is good and now I have start working with new employer so all good..
Now new employer wants me travel to Europe for some official work for 1 week and since my passport stamp is on my old employer and approval notice is new employer so do you guys think it would be an issue?
please let me know what all document etc I should carry during re entry?

I already have approved I-140 in eb3/Sept 2002. I am substituting a labor (EB2) - if approved I would be able to apply for I-485 right away.
My Lawyer has advised to apply I-140 as it is for EB2. (which means no reference to earlier eb3 PD ) And upon its approval during I-485 application, request for earlier PD. In fact, as per him - only reference I need is to seek eligibility for I-485 application. Which is true but shouldn�t I-140 which is basis of I-485 application should show eligible PD.
Please let me know yr opinion.

We are in a peculiar situation regarding our FP. Did you take your FP taken? If so, did you get your file updated sometime after FP was completed? When you gave FP the last time, do you whether they had processed it before the approval?
We had to postpone our 2nd FP in May and gave our prints only in the end of June. I heard that such cases get into delays or problems. The first time over, our FPs were cleared in a week.

I had got RFE email on 8/28/08. I got the letter today in mail.
My mother's name on G325A was written as her mainden name (as per form instructions) and its her married name on my BC. Now USCIS finds this discrepancy and needs evidence to establish my parentage. I will have to submit my BC which is already been done. I am not sure if that will suffice.
Has anyone else had similar issue?

my lawyer mentioned that I-140 PPS will come back after Texas and Nebraska have finish receipting the flood of I485 applications.
In a AILA meeting USCIS raised concerns about their ability to process the cases in 15 days and their concern is that they don't know how many applications they'll receive for I-140 PPS.
my lawyer mentioned its free money for these guys and they will bring it back. USICS still hasn't withdrawn PPS for I-129 or I-539 applications. They use the same freaking resources except now that they are using those resources to receipt for the new I-485 applications.

I guess 485 getting current does not help much without getting i-140 approved.
